On the back of the invoice/receipt that comes with your order is the return/exchange form and instructions.

Just a side note, some members have posted about having trouble returning the outfit lately for full price credit. You have to return the underwear as well, and since the outfit is being changed this year and now on the sale page- AG has been giving less than the original price on returns and exchanges. I think the last amount they credited it for was $22?

I returned 3 outfits last week and got full credit toward a new doll. I was expecting the sale price of 18.00.

LOL! I think AG has a "new" return policy for meet outfits and books. If you are returning meet outfits for the first time ever, they give you full credit ($26). If you are a "repeat offender" like me, then you only get $22.

Nope, i'm guilty of that "crime". I returned 4 outfits back in April too and i got full credit both times. Maybe it just depends on who handles the return.

Their changing the outfit? We're new to the bigger dolls-been stuck in Bitty Baby land for a few years now. Any idea when they might be changing it? I got my daughter (4 year old) the Jess doll and got the Ready for Fun outfit-so that when I buy her sister #25 Today Girl doll-a little later down the road when I had a little more money(she's only 3 now-so I wasn't going to hurry)they'd have matching outfits. I wasn't planning on giving them to them just yet-but wanted to make sure to get Jess. She looks just like my 4 year old-and 25 looks just like my 3 year old-or at least the closest I could find to being half Asian. I'm wondering if I should pick up one of the outfits on sale now if they're going to change them-or maybe they will go cheaper when they change them. Or maybe I should just buy the doll before they change them. Hmmm-decisions. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Well, you know, there's been some debate about the subject of returning meet outfits. I won't get into that, but it does make me furious that there is no consistency. If they're going to give $26, then give $26 to everyone (who paid full price), and if they're only going to give $22, then fine, but it's unethical to give $26 some of the time and $22 at other times. And we are NOT talking about getting less because of the recent sale for $18, nor does the fact that it may be retired soon have any effect on price. You don't need a receipt to prove how much you paid if you bought it from their website or by phone. AG keeps meticulous records of every purchase you ever make and they know exactly how much you paid for any given item.
Now, people who buy or find items for less than retail (ebay, TS, yard sales) and try to return them for full price, that's just wrong. AG has a very lenient return policy, and they're not the only ones. Lots of major retailers have "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" with no time limit on it, but if you didn't buy it directly from AG, then you shouldn't be able to return it to them.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">And that just makes me even angrier. Not that you got full price and I didn't , but that policy is policy and in business, should never be open to the interpretation or whim of a single employee. The mere thought that if Mary Jane processes my return, I get full price, and Betty Sue does it, I get the prorated, discounted price, is a issue of serious proportion and needs to be addressed by AG's upper management.

I'd love to know what's really going on. Is it just the person handling the return? Does it matter if you want a refund or are exchanging for something else? Does it matter how many orders you placed recently? I've had about 40 orders in the last 2 months and have only returned outfits for exchanges but i'm not sure that matters.

I've placed about 10-12 fairly large orders since the first of the year, and never asked for a refund, only exchanges.
